Shai was doing some ‘modelling’ for me the other day, and actually stayed still long enough for me to get a nice sharp focus on her nose with my beloved 50mm f1.8 lens. That lens so isn’t cat-friendly because you gotta ‘zoom with your feet’ and my cats always get restless enough when I point a camera at them, never mind once I start moving about.

Having a shitty day? Go get some Maoam. The sweets are good enough as far as sweets go, but it’s the wrappers that make them worth getting. I’m having some much needed giggles right now.

I’m full of internal rants about how crap the Manic Street Preachers have gotten and how they should’ve quit ages ago, how unbelievably demeaning and damaging women’s magazines are (in a passive-aggressive way), how roads in Edinburgh just get randomly closed and worked on with no advance warning so you don’t realise you can’t go a certain way until you’re already stuck and other stuff that I don’t have the energy to write about now. Maybe the next entry will be a ranty one. I so need painkillers right now, don’t have any and don’t have any money to buy any so if my back and legs keep feeling like this and I keep getting no fucking sleep then I do indeed see rants on the horizon.
